Dr Teresa Nicoletti is currently the co-chair of Medicinal Cannabis Council Australia (MCCA) and was the co-founder of the Australian Medicinal Cannabis Association, chairing the association before its merger with MCCA. 

She has been a prominent and respected voice in the medicinal cannabis sector since 2014 and was instrumental in achieving some of the key regulatory reforms that improved access to medicinal cannabis post-legalisation.  

In addition to her role as co-chair of MCCA, Teresa is a partner at Mills Oakley and is widely recognised as a pre-eminent lawyer in the health and life sciences sector in Australia, particularly in the regulation of therapeutic goods.  

She is a top-ranked lawyer in international legal directories and her contributions have been recognised through multiple awards, including Lawyers Weekly’s Partner of the Year Award in Health – which she has won six times, the Industry Advancement Award at the Cannabiz Awards and the inaugural Dan Haslam Memorial Award.
