Dr Tal is an experienced cannabinoid clinician with a diverse background spanning clinical practice, research, and healthcare operations. With advanced qualifications in psychiatry and general practice, he was among the first physicians in Australia approved to prescribe medicinal cannabis.

Throughout his career, Dr Tal has maintained a strong focus on clinical research and education, serving as the national lead and principal educator for several large-scale national cannabinoid clinical trials. He frequently advises on the development of novel medicinal cannabis formulations and has provided clinical guidance to professional regulatory bodies, including AHPRA.

In addition to his clinical and advisory work, Dr Tal acts as a medical executive, having served as medical director and chief of medical operations for several healthcare organisations.
