Rodney Cocks
Rodney Cocks CSM is an experienced CEO and director of both ASX-listed and private companies. He is currently CEO of TOTIUM Healthcare, a leading national occupational health and healthtech company serving some of Australia's largest companies.
Prior to that, he co-founded and led Vitura Health for over six years. Under his leadership, Vitura became the largest and most successful listed medicinal cannabis company in Australia - and the only one on the ASX to have paid two consecutive fully franked dividends to shareholders. He was also a founding director of Medicinal Cannabis Industry Australia.
Before Vitura, Rodney founded NewSouthern Capital, a private equity firm where he remains a director. He was previously a member of the senior leadership team at Linfox and a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group. His earlier career included service on the counter narcotics team of the British Embassy in Afghanistan and with the United Nations in Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Iraq. He began his career as an infantry officer in the Australian Army, serving in East Timor.
Rodney holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Laws from Queensland University of Technology, an MBA from the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania), and an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Royal Military College, Duntroon, and is admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and a former fellow at Harvard University’s Centre for Public Leadership.
Rodney was named the 2005 Victorian Australian of the Year. In 2003, he was awarded the Conspicuous Service Medal (CSM) for his actions in the aftermath of the 2002 Bali bombings.
