Dr Orit Holtzman (MBBS, PhD Neuroscience) is a clinician-researcher and one of Australia's most experienced medicinal cannabis prescribers and educators. She is the co-founder and director of Leura Wellness - winner of the 2025 Cannabiz Clinic of the Year Award - and was named Prescribing Healthcare Practitioner of the Year at the 2024 Cannabiz Awards.

Dr Holtzman co-founded the Australian and New Zealand College of Cannabinoid Practitioners (ANZCCP), where she serves as vice president and chairs the Human Research Ethics Committee. 

She is an adjunct research fellow and principal investigator at NICM Health Research Institute, Western Sydney University, contributing to clinical trials in cannabinoid therapeutics.

Her clinical practice integrates functional medicine with evidence-based cannabinoid prescribing for complex chronic conditions.
