Cate Hall is the founder of Mar Verde Consulting, which specialises in Australian medicinal cannabis licences, and is also chair of the Australian Cannabis Cultivator Guild. 

Cate works with existing medicinal cannabis licence holders and new entrants to the industry to help them understand regulatory obligations and improve business practices. 

Cate has more than 10 years’ experience in the Australian Public Service (APS), including in the Department of Home Affairs, Treasury and the Department of Health. 

Her most recent APS role was at the Office of Drug Control within the Department of Health, leading the team that assessed medicinal cannabis licences applications.
