Bruce is a disruptive leader across a range of industries from tech to cannabis to global wellness. He’s one of the world's most successful cannabis entrepreneurs and investors and has been the driving force behind the creation of multiple multibillion-dollar global enterprises. He is the founder, former CEO, and chairman of Canopy Growth Corporation.

Bruce currently holds positions on the board of Creso Pharma, as chairman of the advisory board for Red Light Holland Corp, and as advisor with Celadon Pharmaceuticals and Above Foods. He is a board member of the Canadian Olympic Foundation and an active member of the Ottawa Hospital Foundation campaign executive committee.

He was formerly a founding board member and chairman of the governance and compensation committee at Mind Medicine Inc, founding executive chairman of Gage Growth Corp prior to being acquired by TerrAscend, and chairman and chief executive officer of Collective Growth Corporation (SPAC), which went public in May 2020, completing its business combination transaction with Innoviz Technologies in April 2021.
