New Zealand’s MedCan Summit 2022 has moved to a virtual format with the country on high Covid alert.
Originally slated to run as a face-to-face event in Auckland, it will now take place virtually on February 10 and 11, having been postponed from October 2021.
Summit organiser Dr Zahra Champion said: “Our virtual event platform is highly interactive and enables attendees to watch the live sessions and access on-demand content.
“Attendees can engage with the summit speakers through questions and polls, join the roundtables, view the exhibition virtually and book one-on-one meetings with other attendees and sponsors.”
More than 30 international and local speakers will present at the event including scientists, medical experts, clinicians, entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers.
It will also feature a dedicated one-day Healthcare Professionals Forum endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and The Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand.
